With February almost over and Valentines day completely over and done with it has made us inspired to inject a little romance into our style! Valentines month doesn’t just have to be about your partners it can be about you love for fashion too and shouldn’t just be at one time of the year. When it comes to the ladylike style items, lace and pink come to mind so with this month we are focusing our wardrobe on pops of pastel pinks, lovely lace detail and trendy tailored jackets!
To help you with your style inspiration, here are our favourite romantic fun style pieces…
1. Pops of Pink
Pastel Pink isn’t a colour for everyone but the great thing about this colour is that it is an any season colour, whether is comes in the form of some strappy sandals or mini skirt or a thick knit or pretty blouse! You can’t go wrong with a pale pink hue. A fave of ours is this Vero Moda simple blouse with gorgeous lace sleeves.
2. Tailored Jackets
Something everyone needs in the transitional seasons is a jacket that isn’t too wintery but still gives you the warmth as we all know it doesn’t quite get as hot as we would like. A tailored jacket is going to be huge this year, so make sure you bag yourself one ready to knock peoples socks off!
Following the catwalks of Spring/Summer 2015 midi, maxi skirts are going to be one of the biggest trends. Many with slit details. To really create a gorgeous look team with a slouchy thin knit or jacket to contrast the sexy va-va-voom! We have a range of maxi’s in store this year at incredible prices, why not bag yourself a couple in different colours!
3. Flirty Floral
A floral floaty skirt is the definition of romantic fashion, especially when it’s one that twirls perfectly! It’s the perfect print for those Sunny days to make you feel extra summery!
4. Your Sidekick
A must have in any girls wardrobe is go to over the body bag. Its that bag that you rummage for every time you’re having a wild night out, a romantic dinner date or an evening with your besties! These clutch bags from Only and Sons are the perfect go to bags in a range of gorgeous colours, ensuring no matter what your outfit you have the bag to match! Hold as a clutch or use the adjustable strap to put across!
5. Get your shine on
Sequins are a funny one some people think they are just for Christmas but we are in support of wearing them all year round as all of us girls deserve some sparkle in our lives! Simply team right, we love a embellished kimono, great to carry over from the Christmas. Team with a simple structured top for the ultimate romantic, sexy party look!
6. Ripping up the year ahead
The end of 2014 had the ripped knee phenomenon which had most people wearing jeans with rips mainly around the knees! It’s a great look and will continue this year with more all over rips! Ensure to grab yourself a pair of essential ripped jeans now to ensure your tearing up the fashion year ahead. We are in love with these Only blue denim ones!
